Sister Martha supplied this Photo. Mostly Dutch names except for those Turnipseed brothers, Dale and Ernie. Turnipseed? Really? There's a Kuyper, third from the right in the top row. P.H. Kuyper, he founded the Pella Rollscreen Company, and it is still owned by the Kuyper family. Possibly a relation to Uncle Lou. Turnipseed? Ya gotta be kidding! And that guy in the back row in the middle... Bob Smith ... he invented the glasses with the big nose and mustache... like he would give his real name. They also didn't believe in child labor laws as can be seen by the tyke behind and to the left of Ernie Turnipseed. TURNIPSEED? gedoudahere! Oh Yeah, and then there's Pete Kelderman, front row, first seat. Now there's a guy to keep your eye on... looks like he should be a postal worker! And then there's Opa Derk. He was called Dick, after he came to America. He's circled in red, as if that wasn't obvious. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the woman far right second row, Betty Butt Wormhoudt... egads girl, should have had a name change after you slapped your ma and pa silly. Hattie Van Cleave is keeping an eye on Kelderman, lest he makes a move and Paul 'Poindexter' Koopman seems to have eyes for the Butt girl. If Opa Jansz put Smiths glasses on... well enough said.
