Marie was also known as Maree, and Re by her brother Bill. She was born in Pella Iowa on November 8, 1918, and went to the Lord December 8, 2012 in Ventura, CA. She donated her body to science. She leaves behind 4 children; Dennis Roy Ling, Valerie Jean Katz, Martha Lucinda Jansz and Cynthia Louise Nichols, along with numerous grand and great grandchildren.
